Job summary

National Network of Abortion Funds (NNAF) seeks a Communications Manager to amplify the profile of NNAF and its member funds, developing a bilingual media strategy and leading a skilled team. You will cultivate press opportunities, train staff, and guide digital campaigns to advance reproductive justice.

You’ll work collaboratively with the Communications Director and ED, manage interns, and help shape long-term communications strategy while balancing rapid response work with strategic planning.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience working with media as spokesperson.
• 1-2+ years managing staff.
• 1-2+ years planning and executing digital campaigns.
• Fluency in English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Raise visibility of NNAF and member funds through timely media placements.
• Draft statements, press releases, and pitches in English and Spanish.
• Coordinate media opportunities and respond to newsworthy events.
• Train staff and network members in spokesperson and communications practices.
• Oversee social media and digital campaign support.
