Job summary

Advia Credit Union is seeking a hybrid Full-Time Collector to manage delinquent consumer loans and credit card accounts. You will engage with members, offer payment options, and document all collection activities to support internal teams and regulators.

The role requires knowledge of collections regulations, strong customer service, and the ability to communicate effectively in Spanish as part of Advia's bilingual premium program.

Qualifications

• One to three years of related collections experience.
• Knowledge of consumer collection laws and practices.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Collect delinquent consumer loans, credit cards, and negative share accounts.
• Evaluate accounts and build member relationships to resolve delinquencies.
• Document all collection efforts and arrangements.
• Counsel members on options and suggested payment plans.
• Keep accurate documentation and provide support to lenders.
• Comply with TCPA, FCRA, FACTA and related regulations.
