Job summary

Veros Credit, LLC is seeking an Account Servicing Specialist (61+ Days) to manage auto loan accounts 61+ days delinquent. In-office roles are in Santa Ana, CA and Ontario, CA. Responsibilities include negotiating payment plans, documenting activities, and locating borrowers with skip tracing tools.

Requirements include 2+ years in automotive collections and skip tracing, FDCPA knowledge, and bilingual English/Spanish. A flexible schedule and teamwork are valued in this fast-paced role.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in automotive collections handling 61+ delinquency.
• 2+ years of skip tracing experience.
• Reinstatements experience is a plus.
• Able to read/apply FDCPA and related regulations.
• Bilingual English/Spanish required.

Responsibilities

• Follow FDCPA and company policies in collections.
• Negotiate payment arrangements with borrowers.
• Help borrowers devise plans to keep their vehicle while paying loan.
• Document all activities accurately in servicing software.
• Use skip tracing to locate delinquent borrowers.

About The Position

The Account Servicing Specialist (61+ Days) will be responsible for servicing auto loan accounts that are 61+ days delinquent and documenting all collection activities utilizing loan servicing software.

In-office positions are available only in Santa Ana, CA, and Ontario, CA.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Follow and ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures as well as the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA).
• Negotiate payment arrangements with borrowers, including offering suggestions as to how they can meet their obligations, propose alternative payment methods, and establish payment procedures.
• Assist borrowers in devising a strategy to allow them to keep their vehicle while meeting the obligations of the loan.
• Accurately and professionally document account information and collection activities.
• Utilize skip tracing tools and reference sources to identify and locate delinquent borrowers.
• Other duties as assigned.

Essential Requirements:

• 2+ year(s) of experience in the automotive collections field working 61+ delinquency.
• 2+ year(s) of skip tracing experience.
• Reinstatements experience is a plus.
• Effective communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read, interpret and apply federal, state, and local collections regulations.
• Ability to interact with customers in a professional, tactful, and sensitive manner.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment and to work independently and as part of a team.
• Available to work a flexible work schedule and overtime as needed.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) required.

Salary: $22.00 - $30.00 per hour + Bonus
