Job summary

Suvida Healthcare LLC seeks a Certified Medical Assistant to support physicians and keep the clinic running smoothly, handling administrative and clinical tasks, patient prep, and front-desk duties in a culturally competent primary care setting serving Medicare-eligible Hispanic seniors.

You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, maintain patient records, assist with exams, manage reminders and referrals, and contribute to a respectful, inclusive workplace that offers competitive pay

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; professional certifications listed.
• Experience with EMR and medical terminology; bilingual skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• IM/PO medication administration as ordered by provider
• Minor procedures and wound care; assist with exams
• In-room diagnostic testing and patient vitals
• Update patient history and review provider orders with the patient
• Coordinate referrals and care plans; support multidisciplinary team
• Respond to patient calls/messages the same day
