Job summary

Suvida Healthcare, Austin, TX, is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to support physicians and ensure smooth clinic operations for a Medicare-eligible Hispanic senior population. You will maintain patient records, prep rooms, and assist with exams and procedures, while providing compassionate, patient-centered care.

You will perform front-desk tasks, support remote monitoring, and help coordinate care with the multidisciplinary team, ensuring accurate documentation and timely communication.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Certification or registration with CCMA, CMA, RMA, or NCMA.
• Experience with EMR and knowledge of medical terminology.
• Previous experience in a specific medical field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Phlebotomy and venipuncture.
• IM/PO medication administration as ordered by provider.
• Minor procedures (wound care, suture and staple removal).
• Assist with in-room diagnostic testing (X-ray, ultrasound).
• Update patient medical history and vital signs.
• Review provider orders and referrals with patient.
• Support remote patient monitoring and care plan adherence.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary care team.
