Job summary

Suvida Healthcare seeks a Certified Medical Assistant to support physicians and the clinic team in delivering comprehensive patient care. You will perform administrative and clinical tasks, prepare patients and rooms, and assist with exams to ensure smooth clinic operations.

The role requires EMR proficiency, a high school diploma, and appropriate national certifications. Bilingual English/Spanish is required to serve our Hispanic senior population effectively.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Certification/Registration with CCMA, CMA, RMA, or NCMA.
• Experience with EMR and basic medical terminology.
• Previous experience in a specific medical field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide physician support and clinical assistance as assigned.
• Administer IM/PO medications as ordered by the provider.
• Assist with minor procedures and in-room diagnostics.
• Take vitals and update medical histories.
• Review orders, referrals, labs with patients and escalate concerns.
• Support care plan adherence and respond to patient inquiries the same day.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary care team for continuity.
