Suvida Healthcare is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to provide physician support and ensure clinic operations run smoothly. You will maintain patient records, prepare patients and exam rooms, assist physicians with exams, and perform front-desk tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Certification or Registration with CCMA, CMA, RMA, or NCMA.
• Experience with EMR (electronic medical records).
• Previous experience in the medical field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Phlebotomy/Venipuncture
• IM/PO medication administration as ordered by provider
• Minor Procedures (Wound Care, Sutures)
• Assist with in-room diagnostic testing (X-Ray, US)
• Vitals
• Update Patient Medical History
• Review provider orders with patient
• Review referrals with patient
• Review labs/tests with patient and escalate concerns to provider
• Remote Patient Monitoring Support
• Support care plan adherence
• Respond to patient calls/messages same day
• Collaborate with care team for continuity of care
• Other duties assigned by provider
