Physicians’ Primary Care of Southwest Florida in Lehigh Acres, FL seeks a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA/RMA), bilingual in Spanish and English, to support our Pediatrics division. Responsibilities include exam room preparation, patient intake, vital signs, and assisting physicians during visits and procedures.

Travel between pediatric offices is required. Candidates should hold CMA/RMA certification (LPN considered), have strong attention to detail, excellent customer service, knowledge of

Qualifications

• CMA or RMA certification from an accredited program.
• LPN certification/license will be considered.
• Excellent attention to detail and accurate record-keeping.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Knowledge of phlebotomy, patient intake and common medications.
• One year of medical assisting experience or equivalent education/experience.
• CPR certification or ability to obtain upon hire.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish and/or Portuguese is desired.

Responsibilities

• Prepare exam and treatment rooms for patient and physician use
• Perform patient intake; vital signs, medical history and medication review
• Assist physicians in the exam room during physicals and procedures
• Record patient chart in management system in a timely and accurate manner
• Maintain confidentiality and HIPAA compliance and regulations
• Travel between pediatric offices as needed
