Job summary

Ascentria Care Alliance is seeking a Bilingual Clinician to provide culturally sensitive mental health services for unaccompanied refugee youth and migrant adolescents in Massachusetts. The role includes individual and group counseling, intake assessments, and treatment planning, with opportunities to supervise clinical staff.

The position requires LICSW or LMHC licensure (or eligibility), a Master's in a relevant field, and fluency in Spanish and English.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree required in social work, psychology, or counseling with clinical experience.
• Two years of postgraduate direct service delivery experience with adolescents preferred.
• Massachusetts licensure (LICSW or LMHC) required or eligible.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred; read/write/speak in both languages.
• Supervisory experience in direct service delivery preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide ongoing direct therapeutic services to unaccompanied children and refugee youth via individual, group, and family sessions.
• Conduct intake assessments, develop treatment plans, and manage referrals/discharges.
• Deliver services in office, foster homes, virtually, and in community settings.
• Complete clinical documentation, progress notes, and records for adolescents.
• Provide supervision and guidance to clinical staff on therapy methods and treatment planning.
• Ensure culturally competent practices and adherence to ORR policies and state regulations.
• Develop and deliver culturally competent curricula for youth clients.
• Participate in staff meetings and coordinate with community service providers.
