• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Completion of Principles of Teaching and passing ParaPro or equivalent.
• Ability to read, write and speak English and the target ELL language.
• Computer skills required.

Responsabilidades

• Provide academic assistance to students in home-language as directed by the teacher.
• Confer with teachers to meet student needs.
• Assist with evaluating student progress and communicating with parents.
• Assist with ESOL eligibility testing and assessments.
• Provide translation for non-English speakers between home and school.
• Support ESOL Parent Advisory Councils as interpreter/translator.
• Perform non-instructional duties as assigned.
• Follow district policies and safety rules.
