Qualifications

• High School diploma required.
• Experience in an educational setting preferred.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Bilingual in Spanish based on service population and area.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and implement early childhood curriculum.
• Demonstrated ability to manage the classroom and work well under pressure.
• Ability to build positive rapport with children and team members.
• Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Pre and Post Testing for all children in care (ages 0–17).
• Take daily attendance for each class period and document for accuracy.
• Assist in planning, preparation and development of instructional materials.
• Oversee lesson delivery when teacher is absent and ensure engagement.
• Assist instruction for individual, small and large groups.
• Collaborate to follow established schedules and ensure smooth transitions.
• Assist with physical education equipment setup and guidance.
• Prepare class materials and organize worksheets for presentation.
• Maintain classroom cleanliness by disinfecting materials before/after use.
• Support classroom behavior management with positive reinforcement.
