Job summary

BZT Food LLC, the U.S. division of a Chinese-based food manufacturer, seeks a hands-on Operations/Logistics Coordinator in California. You will handle customer orders, invoicing, inventory, and coordination across factories, warehouses, and logistics partners.

The role involves QuickBooks Online, Feishu/Lark, and occasional travel between Foothill Ranch and Montebello. Strong Chinese/English skills and attention to detail are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Chinese communication skills required.
• Comfortable working in both Chinese and English business environments.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Basic accounting knowledge preferred.
• QuickBooks Online experience preferred; training can be provided.
• Experience with Feishu/Lark, Excel, Google Sheets, or similar tools preferred.
• Experience in logistics, supply chain, food distribution, importing, sales operations, or international trade is a plus.
• Comfortable occasionally working in a cold-storage/freezer warehouse environment.
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel between Foothill Ranch and Montebello as needed.

Responsibilities

• Manage customer orders from confirmation through delivery and payment follow-up.
• Follow up on customer requests, product submissions, shipments, invoices, payments, and operational issues.
• Communicate with customers, factories, warehouses, trucking companies, and logistics providers.
• Independently research information needed to complete tasks and determine appropriate next steps.
• Maintain accurate customer, product, order, inventory, and invoice records.
• Use QuickBooks Online for orders, invoices, inventory, and basic accounting-related work.
• Use Feishu/Lark for internal communication, documentation, and task tracking.
• Assist with inventory review, purchasing, delivery appointments, shipping, and accounts receivable follow-up.
• Support new product launches and expansion into U.S. supermarket, foodservice, and wholesale channels.
• Research food trends, competitors, and emerging Asian food products.
• Participate in product sourcing and selection. If you discover an interesting or trending product, you may have the opportunity to help evaluate whether it could become one of our future products.
• Occasionally assist with outbound order fulfillment at our Montebello cold-storage warehouse during busy periods, generally no more than 1–2 times per week.
• Handle day-to-day business issues and follow them through to completion.
