Job summary

Tierra Encantada, headquartered in Minneapolis, MN, leads in Spanish immersion early education for children 6 weeks through 6 years old. The Float position supports classrooms, cleans, and assists in the kitchen, contributing to a joyful, language-rich environment.

The role is full-time, Monday–Friday, with starting pay ranging from $17.31 to $19.04 per hour, depending on education and experience. CPR/First Aid and CDA certifications are preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in Spanish.
• Strong communication skills with families and co-workers.
• CPR/First Aid and Food Handling certifications preferred but not required.
• Early Childhood Education experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with ensuring smooth center operations including breaks, absences, and classroom openings.
• Adapt to the unique needs of each classroom and age group.
• Assist in implementing the curriculum and maintaining a safe, engaging environment.
• Foster a nurturing atmosphere and promote well-being and growth of every child.
• Maintain open communication with teachers, staff, and leadership.
• Ensure cleanliness, organization, and safety of the center.
