Job summary

Tierra Encantada in Powell, OH is hiring a Center Floater to assist in classrooms, cleaning, and kitchen tasks. This full-time role runs Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with starting pay between $15.53 and $17.08 per hour depending on education and experience.

The position supports center operations, classroom coverage, curriculum implementation, and ensuring a safe, engaging environment for children ages 6 weeks to 6 years. A strong Spanish background is required.

Qualifications

• Fluent in Spanish; able to communicate effectively with families and staff.
• Early Childhood Education experience is strongly preferred but not required.
• CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain within 90 days (as applicable).
• Food handling certification is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in center operations including classrooms, cleaning, and kitchen support.
• Maintain welcoming, developmentally appropriate environment for children.
• Communicate with teachers and leadership to support daily routines.
• Cover breaks, openings/closings, and ensure safety and cleanliness.
