Job summary

The YMCA of Northern Colorado is seeking a part-time Child Watch Attendant to supervise children in our program across YMCA branches. You will ensure a safe environment, manage staff-to-child ratios, and lead age-appropriate activities indoors and outdoors.

Qualifications include being at least 16 years old, experience with children preferred, and current ARC/First Aid, CPR and Bloodborne Pathogens within 30 days (training provided).

Qualifications

• Candidate should be engaging, energetic and enthusiastic.
• Experience working with children is preferred.
• ARC/First Aid, CPR and Blood Borne Pathogens certifications within 30 days of hire (training provided).
• Must be at least 16 years old.

Responsibilities

• Closely supervise children to maintain a safe environment.
• Know room occupancy and staff-to-child ratio.
• Keep facility clean and safe as described in Child Watch expectations.
• Implement age-appropriate activities for children.
• Communicate clearly with parents, peers, and supervisor.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
