Job summary

YMCA of Northern Colorado is seeking part-time Child Watch Attendants to supervise children aged 6 weeks to 10 years in and around the facility. The role emphasizes safety, engagement, and clear communication with parents while supporting a fun, nurturing environment.

Applicants should be energetic, reliable, and a positive role model. Bilingual Spanish/English staff receive a +10% differential. Training in ARC/YMCA First Aid, CPR, and Bloodborne Pathogens is provided within 30 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children preferred
• Must be at least 16 years old
• ARC/YMCA First Aid, CPR and Blood Borne Pathogens within 30 days of hire

Responsibilities

• Closely supervises all children to maintain a safe environment
• Keeps track of room occupants and staff-to-child ratio
• Keeps facility clean and safe as described in policy
• Implements age-appropriate activities for children
• Communicates clearly with parents, peers, and supervisor

Overview:The YMCA of Northern Colorado is looking for Child Watch Attendants. Child Watch is a program located in our YMCA branches that provide members with childcare while they work out, take classes or swim. The children play inside and outside, do craft projects, enjoy games and sports, and more. Child Watch is available to children ages 6 weeks to 10 years of age.Are you a responsible and reliable role model for littles?
