Job summary

Advocates is seeking a collaborative, bilingual Outpatient Clinician to join our trauma‑informed team serving children, adolescents, and families in Marlborough, MA.

You will provide comprehensive outpatient counseling, coordinate with families and external agencies, and participate in supervision and team‑based care with a Monday–Friday schedule and in‑person requirements. A Master’s degree and Portuguese fluency are required.

Qualifications

• MSW or MA in related field from an accredited college/university, and one year of outpatient experience preferred.
• Degree must be eligible for independent licensure.
• Must hold a valid driver's license and access to an insured vehicle.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Comprehensive knowledge of basic computer applications.
• Fluent in Portuguese.

Responsibilities

• Promote a balanced, healthy, safe and open environment for clients.
• Provide evaluations for children, adolescents, adults, and families.
• Provide individual and family treatment to children, adolescents, adults and families.
• Coordinate collaboration and contact with client’s families, and other external stakeholders as appropriate.
• Advocate for client’s needs within the program as well as with external agencies.
• Maintain up to date client records including written evaluations, treatment plans, quarterly reviews, termination summaries and progress notes.
• Attend and actively participate in supervision and staff meetings.
• Value collaboration and team based care.
• Being open and willing to expand knowledge.
• Ensure that clients are treated with dignity and respect in accordance with Advocates Human Rights Policy.

Salary: $67,995 -$78,187

Schedule: Monday through Friday, at least 3 days in-person, two of those days 12pm-8pm;

Or alternatively a consistent Saturday instead of late nights
