Job summary

Advocates is seeking a collaborative Child and Adolescent Outpatient Clinician to provide comprehensive outpatient counseling/therapy to children, adolescents, and families in need of services. The team works in a trauma-informed environment aligned with Advocates Way.

Minimum education is a Master’s Degree (MSW or MA) with licensure eligibility and a valid driver’s license. Expect at least 3 in-person days weekly (Mon–Fri 12pm–8pm or a consistent Saturday alternative) at our Marlborough, MA

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Promote a balanced, healthy, safe and open environment for clients.
• Provide evaluations for children, adolescents, adults and families.
• Provide individual and family treatment to children, adolescents, adults and families.
• Coordinate collaboration with client’s families and external stakeholders.
• Advocate for client’s needs within the program and with external agencies.
• Maintain up-to-date client records and progress notes.
• Attend supervision and staff meetings.
• Value collaboration and team-based care.
• Be open to expanding knowledge and best practices.

Salary: $63,835-$74,000

Schedule: Monday through Friday, at least 3 days in-person, two of those days 12pm-8pm;

Or alternatively a consistent Saturday instead of late nights

Qualifications

• MSW degree or MA in related field from an accredited college/university, and one year of experience working within an outpatient setting preferred. Degree must be eligible for independent licensure.


• Must hold a valid driver's license and access to an operational and insured vehicle.


• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.


• Comprehensive knowledge of basic computer applications.


• Ability to thrive in an independent role while offering and receiving team support.
