Job summary

11th Avenue Family Medicine Clinic in Yakima, WA is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to support providers and care teams. The MA will maintain patient records, prepare for visits, and assist in examinations, with bilingual capabilities valued.

The role offers full-time hours (40/week) with a competitive hourly wage and a bilingual differential. Epic EMR is used; health insurance, PTO, and retirement options are available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Medical assisting program (720 hours incl. 160 clinical) required.
• 1 year CMA experience preferred.
• CPR certification within 90 days of hire.
• WA CMA certification or interim certification required.
• Spanish-speaking skills at level 10.

Responsibilities

• Maintain patient medical records and update vitals, immunizations, and treatments.
• Prepare for visits; review labs, referrals, and reports; update providers as needed.
• Collaborate with providers to ensure efficient schedules and continuity of care.
• Prepare and sterilize exam rooms and equipment; assist during examinations and procedures.
• Educate patients within scope and provide discharge instructions.
