COMHAR in Philadelphia, PA is seeking a Bilingual Central Registration Specialist to ensure accurate patient registration, verify insurance, update demographics, and deliver excellent service in a fast-paced setting.

The role requires bilingual English/Spanish communication, a high school diploma or GED (associate degree preferred), and 2–4 years of medical office experience. Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM; salary around $36,108.8 with full benefits.

Qualifications

• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish required.
• Strong reading and writing skills in both languages.
• 2–4 years of administrative/medical office experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Register patients accurately in the EMR system.
• Verify insurance eligibility, benefits, and authorization requirements.
• Collect co-pays and required documentation per policies.
• Update demographic and insurance information to ensure accuracy.
• Respond to inquiries and explain registration steps clearly.
• Collaborate with clinical/administrative teams to support patient flow.
• Ensure HIPAA compliance and maintain organized records.
