Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children with autism, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a BCBA. You will use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing challenging behaviors.

No prior experience required—the company provides comprehensive training. Must be patient, compassionate, and able to stand, move, and lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team
• 18+ years of age with high school diploma or GED
• Ability to obtain CPR and First Aid Certification and TB test
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check
• Ability to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend, etc.)
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
• Bilingual in Spanish

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a BCBA
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social and daily living skills while reducing interfering behaviors
• Participate in comprehensive training provided by Centria Autism
