Job summary

Camino Real Community Services in Eagle Pass, TX is seeking a C&A Case Manager to deliver mental health services to severely and chronically mentally ill children, adolescents, and their families. The position requires a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or nursing, QMHP eligibility, and bilingual English/Spanish proficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college/university with a major in psychology, social work, medicine, nursing, rehabilitation, counseling, sociology, human growth and development, physician assistant, gerontology, special education, education psychology, early childhood education, or early childhood intervention; OR a registered nurse. QMHP qualifications required.
• Good computer skills.
• Valid Texas driver’s license, clean driving record in past 3 years, and auto insurance; ability to use personal vehicle for travel when agency vehicle unavailable.
• English/Spanish bilingual; ability to read, write, and speak English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Provide mental health services to severely and chronically mentally ill or emotionally disturbed children, adolescents, and their parents; may include dual diagnosed individuals.
• Interventions may occur in home, office, or community settings; involve screening, case management, and rehabilitative services.
• Meet 85 hours of productivity monthly and complete all documentation within 24 hours.
• Travel extensively for community-based service provision; participate in daytime crisis on-call system; interface with local and state agencies.
