Job summary

Bethany Christian Services is hiring a Transitional Foster Care Case Aide to support vulnerable children and families. You will work within a faith-driven team across communities, providing compassionate, trauma-informed care and language interpretation as needed.

This role emphasizes independent work, strict deadlines, and strong organizational skills in a diverse, mission-driven setting. You will collaborate with staff to uphold safety and quality of care while using Microsoft Office tools for

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Bilingual: English and Spanish.
• Knowledge of trauma and Sanctuary Model of Care to ensure trauma-informed environment.
• Demonstrated organizational skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be willing and able to provide language interpretation services.
• Must have ability to provide excellent and compassionate customer service.
• Ability to work independently with strong attention to detail.
• Must be reliable with time sensitive deadlines and tasks.
• Must pass required medical examinations and have the physical ability to fulfill essential job functions, including physical restraints of a resident.
• Successfully pass an annual TB test and document preference to receive or decline Hepatitis immunization.
• Exhibit integrity and good moral character to provide appropriate care.
• Possess relevant experience and/or qualifications to work with clients with special needs; be properly trained and licensed, as necessary.
• Must show proof of immunity to vaccine-preventable diseases transmitted by the respiratory route (TDap rules).
• Results of medical examination (TB tests and immunization records).
• Computer skills sufficient to perform essential functions including knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
• Must be 21+ with valid driver’s license and at least 3 years of driving experience to operate a vehicle for Bethany; pass MVR check and maintain insurance.

• Computer skills sufficient to perform essential functions including knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite;
• Must be 21 years old with a valid driver’s license with at least 3 years of driving experience in the U.S. to operate a vehicle on behalf of Bethany;
• Must pass a Motor Vehicle Records (MVR) check and maintain a reliable vehicle with proof of adequate insurance coverage;
• Pass a criminal history screen, including state and local child protection agency registries;
• Subscription to and integration of the agency Statement of Faith, Mission Statement, and Commitment to Unity.
