Job summary

Homecare Heroes of Texas in Garland, TX is seeking compassionate caregivers to support individuals with developmental disabilities, ensuring safety and well-being. Responsibilities include daily living assistance, medication administration, and maintaining HIPAA confidentiality.

You will provide emotional support, maintain a clean living environment, and advocate for residents’ rights while working as part of a caring team dedicated to dignity and independence.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in caregiving or a related field is preferred but not required.
• Compassionate and caring nature with a genuine desire to help others.
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
• Basic knowledge of patient care techniques and procedures.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently as well as part of a team.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• You MUST be able to pass a drug screen and background check (State and National). Must have a valid driver's license and auto insurance.
