Job summary

Morton College in Cicero, IL is seeking a Specialist to support Project CARE students entering the program and to lead recruitment efforts. The role includes coordinating recruitment events, engaging with Adult Education classes, and expanding Project CARE across the college district.

The ideal candidate will be bilingual in Spanish and English, hold an Associate’s degree, and have experience working with postsecondary students or adult learners.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree required.
• Bilingual Spanish and English required.
• Experience working with postsecondary students or adult learners preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist prospective and current student with Project CARE intake.
• Answer phone calls and take messages in the Project CARE office and respond to emails.
• Perform data entry, sorting, maintaining, and filing student records in database.
• Support program marketing efforts, including visiting Adult Education classes to promote the program.
• Assist with test sign-up, assessment, intake & orientation.
• Facilitate student relationships with tutors and conduct college tours.
• Represent Project CARE programs at college events, community events, and career fairs (off-site work may be required).
• Attend required meetings and training sessions.
• Complete professional development activities as assigned.
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
