Job summary

Wolfe Eye Clinic in Marshalltown, IA, seeks a full-time Bilingual Call Center Agent to join our on-site team. You will handle inbound calls, schedule and adjust patient appointments, and verify demographic information while maintaining HIPAA-compliant records.

The role requires English/Spanish bilingual proficiency, strong patient service skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, high-call-volume environment. Daytime hours, M-F, with benefits and a professional team atmosphere.

Qualifications

• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is required.
• Experience in a call center or medical office preferred.
• Strong patient service skills and professional communication.
• Proficient data entry into computer systems.
• Able to work M-F 8:00 AM–5:00 PM.

Responsibilities

• Answering telephone calls in a clear professional manner.
• Directing telephone calls accordingly.
• Making, canceling, and rescheduling patient appointments.
• Gathering, verifying, and entering demographic information.
• Making outbound calls as needed.
• Maintaining patient records according to HIPAA guidelines.
• Interacting with coworkers, physicians, and patients.
• Performing other duties as needed.
