Qualifications

• Experience with individuals who have substance abuse/addiction.
• Interest and ability to register as a CADC-R.
• Proficiency with e-mail, document handling, and basic computer tasks.
• Ability to operate within HIPAA confidentiality rules and to use an Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.

Responsibilities

• Provides client-centered care utilizing evidence-based and trauma-informed services.
• Utilizes motivational interviewing techniques to establish therapeutic rapport and engage clients.
• Conducts assessment interviews using evidence-based tools and provides evidence-based interventions to address goals.
• Manages a caseload of clients and develops treatment planning goals with program-specific practices.
• Collaborates with the treatment team to meet client goals.
• Performs timely documentation meeting billing criteria with appropriate terminology.
• Adheres to Oregon Administrative Rules (OAR) and care standards; completes charting and data entry.
• Develops and facilitates client groups.
• Handles behavioral emergencies and facilitates access to resources and services.
• Attends mandatory meetings and participates in supervision.
• Maintains positive working relationships and represents the agency professionally.
• Connects clients to self-help programs and activities.
• Transports clients between sites as needed.
