Job summary

Kolkia Counseling's, part of Options for Southern Oregon, seeks a Drug and Alcohol Counselor in Ashland, Oregon. The role focuses on SUD screening, assessments, and treatment for adults and children, with on-site supervision and FIT-based delivery of care.

Responsibilities include client-centered care, motivational interviewing, and collaborative treatment planning within a supportive team, following HIPAA and state rules. Bilingual Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience with individuals who have substance use disorders.
• Must have interest and ability to register as a CADC-R.

Responsibilities

• Provide client-centered care utilizing evidence-based and trauma-informed services.
• Utilize motivational interviewing to establish rapport and engage clients.
• Conduct assessment interviews and provide evidence-based interventions to address goals.
• Manage a caseload and implement treatment planning goals.
• Collaborate with the treatment team to meet client goals.
• Maintain timely documentation meeting billing criteria.
• Adhere to OAR standards and charting requirements.
• Develop and facilitate client groups.
• Participate in supervision and team meetings.
