Job summary

The Restaurant Store is seeking a Field Marketing Associate to promote the benefits of shopping with TRS across the Orlando market and to represent the local branch positively. You will execute field marketing and indirect sales initiatives to support the sales and leadership teams.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year in retail or field marketing, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while traveling locally to meet business customers.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of retail or field marketing/sales experience.
• Proficient in MS Office to manage B2B relationships.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Communicate effectively with TRS customer base including food service operators and owners.
• Navigate company software and technology to support customer needs.
• Plan efficient travel routes to meet local business customers regularly.
• Increase local branch sales by converting prospects to active customers.
• Re-engage inactive and lapsed customers into regular purchasers.
• Share customer buying trends and competitor info with the local store.

Job Summary

The Field Marketing Associate with The Restaurant Store is responsible for communicating the advantages of shopping with TRS in a clean and concise manner across the local market area, while consistently portraying a positive representation of their local branch. The Field Marketing Associate will achieve a variety of operational goals through effective field marketing and indirect sales strategies that align with the goals of our sales and leadership teams.

• Ability to effectively communicate with TRS customer base, including but not limited to food service business operators and owners


• Ability to navigate company software & technology to support customer needs and position requirements


• Ability to plan efficient travel routes to meet with local business customers on recurring basis


• Increase local branch sales by converting new prospects into active customers and re-engaging inactive and lapsed customers into regular purchasers with TRS


• Communicate pertinent information to sales team at local branch through established communication methods


• Communicate customer buying trends and competitor information to local store by providing relevant competitor invoices


• Develop and maintain knowledge of available products

Physical Requirements

• Work is performed while standing and/or walking, up to and including 9 hours/day.


• Requires the ability to communicate effectively using speech, vision, and hearing.


• Requires the regular use of hands for simple grasping and fine manipulations.


• Requires regular bending, squatting, crawling, climbing, and reaching.


• Requires the ability to regularly lift, carry, push, or pull medium weights, up to 50lbs.

Experience

• Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in retail and/or field marketing / sales


• Experience using MS Office Suite to maintain business-to-business relationships


• High school diploma or GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience

• Previous experience in the restaurant industry is a plus


• Must possess reliable transportation and maintain a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
