Job summary

SDI Staffing in Mission Valley, CA is seeking an Employee Benefits Account Manager for an in-office role. You will support small group clients, manage renewals, enrollments and terminations, and work with carriers to quote and implement plans. Bilingual Spanish required; knowledge of Employee Navigator essential.

Two+ years of benefits account management experience, CA Life/Health license, and proficiency with Excel, Word and Outlook are expected. On-screen client meetings as needed.

Qualifications

• Two plus years of benefits account management experience.
• Active CA Life/Health license required.
• Proficient in Excel, Word and Outlook.
• Bilingual Spanish required; familiarity with Employee Navigator.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for small group clients.
• Manage renewals, policy changes, enrollments, and terminations.
• Allocate 20% of time to renewals sales and 80% servicing.
• Collaborate with carriers to obtain quotes and implement plans.
• Prepare FRPs for advisors and educate clients on options and compliance.
• Assist with open enrollment meetings and client communications.
• Maintain accurate records in the agency management system.
• Work with producers to deliver top-tier client service.
