Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children with autism, implementing individualized intervention plans under the supervision of a BCBA. You will teach communication, social, and daily living skills using evidence-based techniques to reduce interfering behaviors.

We provide comprehensive training to equip you for success, with a pay range of $16–$23. Candidates should be passionate, patient, and able to work well in a team, with requirements

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR and First Aid certification and TB test.
• Ability to pass a preemployment background check.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Registered Behavior Technician Certification within 45 days of onboarding requirements.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under BCBA guidance.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing interfering behaviors.
• Collaborate with BCBA and team to implement plans.
• Provide comprehensive training to prepare you for the role.
• Be physically able to move in various positions and assist children safely.
