Job summary

Centria Autism seeks enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children under the supervision of a BCBA, delivering evidence-based interventions to improve communication, social, and daily living skills. You will support families and contribute to meaningful progress daily.

Qualifications

• Must have a passion for helping children with autism.
• Able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid Certification and TB test within the last year.
• Ability to pass a pre employment background check.
• Ability to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend, etc.)
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children under the guidance of a BCBA.
• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing interfering behaviors.
• Maintain safety and positive engagement during sessions.
• Participate in training and team discussions.
