Job summary

ABS Kids in Thousand Oaks, CA seeks a compassionate Behavior Technician to support children with autism. You will teach through play, follow individualized treatment plans, and document progress to guide therapy. Bilingual English/Spanish is strongly preferred, and premium pay applies for bilingual sessions.

The role offers a set weekday schedule, guaranteed hours after paid training and RBT certification, plus opportunities to advance with ABA education and BCBA paths.

Qualifications

• Paid prior experience working with kids preferred.
• Energetic, playful, and creative approach required.
• Dependable with strong reliability and follow-through.
• Willing to learn data collection and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Teach kids through play following a treatment plan.
• Observe, play and collect data for progress notes.
• Help kids learn motor, social, and emotional skills.
• Work on goals that shape challenging behaviors into communication.
