Job summary

ABS Kids in California is seeking part-time Behavior Technicians to support children with autism through ABA therapy, play-based teaching, and data collection. Flexible shifts include mornings, afternoons, and evenings to fit family schedules.

Qualified candidates can earn a bilingual premium (Spanish/English) and may receive on-the-job RBT certification, mileage reimbursement, 401(k) match, and PTO. Training is provided, no prior experience required beyond a caring attitude.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of experience working with children (or adults with special needs)
• Fluent in Spanish and English preferred
• Reliable transportation to travel to client homes and other locations
• Willingness to obtain RBT certification and learn data collection software

Responsibilities

• Make a difference in the life of a child using ABA therapy
• Provide one-on-one support to clients with autism spectrum disorder
• Collect and record data on client behavior and progress
• Maintain a safe and respectful environment for clients and staff
• Help develop essential life skills such as daily living and social skills
• Follow prescribed supervision and shift routines
