Butterfly Effects is hiring a Bilingual Behavior Technician (RBT) for in-home services in Georgia. The role supports children with autism by implementing ABA plans under a BCBA, while collaborating with families to foster communication, social skills and self-care.

This is a part-time position (12–20 hours/week) in a home setting. The ideal candidate is fluent in Spanish and English, with a high school diploma and reliable transportation; RBT certification is preferred and equipment

Responsibilities

• Implement ABA-based treatment plans under BCBA supervision.
• Observe, record, and report client progress and behavior changes.
• Manage challenging behaviors using ABA techniques.
• Communicate professionally with parents, analysts, trainers, and clients.
• Complete daily paperwork and data entries in the online system.

What Do You Bring to the Role?

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Certification: Registered Behavior Technician Certification if already obtained.
• Passion for Children: A genuine love for working with children.
• Positive Attitude: Strong interpersonal skills for working with children and families.
• Experience: Prior experience with children is advantageous.
• Continuous Learning: Interest in ongoing development.
• Transportation: Valid driver's license & personal vehicle.
• Devices: Must have a Tablet or Laptop computer to use during sessions (not just a smart phone).

What Would You Be Doing?

• Implements individualized treatment plans under the direction of a Board-Certified Behavioral Analyst (BCBA).
• Observes, records, and reports on client's progress, as well as the condition and behavior of the client daily.
• Manages challenging behaviors.
• Apply behavioral principles consistently in all interactions with clients.
• Assists clients, as needed, to acquire academic and/or appropriate life skills.
• Communicates in a professional and respectful manner with parents, behavior analysts/consultants, trainers, and clients.
• Functions as an active member of the treatment team.
• Completes daily paperwork and data collection notes in a detailed, accurate, consistent, and timely manner through our online database.
• Actively participates in continuous training programs designed to increase overall skills.
• Maintains confidentiality of client information.
• Follows BE policies and procedures.

Physical Requirements:

This role involves working in natural environments, occasionally requiring lifting or moving up to 50 lbs. and maintaining various postures for extended periods.
