Job summary

ABS Kids is seeking a part-time Behavior Technician in Pomona, CA to use play and ABA therapy to teach real-life skills. You will collect data and provide one-on-one support to children with autism in client homes and local settings.

Responsibilities include ensuring safety, recording progress, and helping kids develop essential life skills. Bilingual Spanish/English strongly preferred; paid on-the-job training and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of experience working with children or adults with special needs.
• Fluent in Spanish and English are strongly preferred.
• Willingness to travel to client homes and other locations.

Responsibilities

• Make a difference in the life of a child through ABA therapy and play.
• Collect and record data on client behavior and progress.
• Provide one-on-one support to clients with autism spectrum disorder.
• Maintain a safe and respectful environment for clients and staff.
• Help the child develop essential life skills and routines.
