Job summary

ABS Kids is seeking attentive Behavior Technicians to support children with autism through ABA therapy in client homes. This part-time role offers flexible shifts and a supportive learning environment where you can start with no prior experience.

You will work closely with families, record progress, and help children acquire daily living skills while building trusting relationships. Spanish/English bilingual abilities are strongly preferred and encouraged.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of experience with children or adults with special needs.
• Heart for helping kids with autism and related conditions.
• Calm, steady presence and eagerness to engage children through play.

Responsibilities

• Make a difference in the life of a child.
• Use play, patience, and ABA therapy to teach real-life skills.
• Collect and record data on client behavior and progress.
• Provide one-on-one support to clients with autism spectrum disorder.
• Maintain a safe and respectful environment for clients and staff.
• Help the child develop essential life skills such as motor skills, personal hygiene, daily living, potty training, social and emotional skills.
• Get up and down off floor often, move quickly.
