Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts seeks a Parts Specialist to deliver high levels of service to retail and installer customers. You will assist store management, greet customers, and help with merchandise selection while promoting company service programs.

Responsibilities include answering phone inquiries, processing payments, handling exchanges, resolving complaints, updating planograms, and performing daily store operations. Multilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
• Ability to provide outstanding, friendly and professional customer service.
• Must be able to multitask, handling customers on the phone and in the store at the same time.

Responsibilities

• Follow and promote all company customer service programs, e.g. Hi-5, Low Price Guarantee, Rock the Call, Related Selling, Rock the Lot.
• Greet retail/walk-in customers and assist with merchandise selection.
• Assist managers and installer service specialists with professional customers as needed.
• Complete assigned company training relevant to position.
• Answer store calls, look up parts, quote prices, and suggest related items per policy.
• Maintain cash drawer, process cash, checks, and credit card transactions.
• Process exchanges and returns per company policy.
• Address and resolve customer complaints in a friendly manner.
• Update planograms and image maker, stock shelves, and handle freight receivals.
• Perform daily operational tasks, including stock counts and merchandise returns.
• Operate brake lathe and other test equipment after training.
• Provide in-store services (install wipers, test/charge batteries, etc.).
• Occasionally drive a delivery vehicle when needed.
• All other duties as assigned.
