Job summary

Pasona Inc. is seeking a Japanese-English bilingual Automotive Account Manager to join its Novi sales team onsite.

You will manage Tier supplier accounts supporting Toyota and Honda programs, respond to RFQs, prepare quotations, and drive growth with cross-functional collaboration. Based in Novi, MI, this role requires 5+ years in sales or account management, business-level Japanese and English, and experience with automotive suppliers.

Qualifications

• Requires business-level Japanese and English communication.
• Bachelor’s degree required; engineering preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in Sales, Account Management, or related role.
• Experience with Toyota/Honda accounts or programs is a plus.
• Experience with Tier 1 / Tier 2 suppliers is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop relationships with assigned automotive Tier customers.
• Support Toyota and Honda-related programs and business activities.
• Identify and pursue new sales and business development opportunities.
• Respond to RFQs and coordinate pricing and quotations.
• Handle commercial discussions and resolve customer-related issues.
• Coordinate sample requests and follow up on opportunities.
• Prepare sales forecasts and annual sales budgets for assigned accounts.
• Monitor customer activity, competitors, and industry trends.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Accounting, Customer Support, and other teams.
• Support resolution of payment, obsolete inventory, and other commercial matters.
• Provide regular updates to management.
• Support exhibitions and promotional activities as needed.
