Job summary

Advance Auto Parts Inc. is looking for an entry-level Salesperson to support the DIY business with basic automotive knowledge and store-systems proficiency.

The role can be part-time or full-time and involves sourcing parts from stores, hubs, PDQ, and external suppliers, plus maintaining inventory and store standards. You will provide DIY services, assist customers by phone and in person, and help the store meet its sales goals.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment.
• Ability to work days, evenings, and weekends as needed.
• Basic driving and navigation ability.
• Basic automotive system knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
• Achieve personal sales goals and help store achieve its sales goals.
• Provide DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
• Maintain store product and operational standards.
• Responsible for inventory processes including truck put away, cycle counts, Back stock, etc.
• Store cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting, parking lot.
• Safely deliver parts to customers as needed.
