Qualifications

• Pursuing or completed a Bachelor's degree in Accounting with a minimum 3.0 GPA.
• Business-level fluency in Japanese and English (read, write, speak).
• Eligible to sit for the CPA exam in your intended state of employment after meeting educational requirements.
• Internship/entry-level status; typically in third year of a four-year program or fourth year of a five-year program.

Responsibilities

• Support audit teams in conducting financial statement audits for Japanese clients.
• Review financial documents to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
• Assist GAAP and GAAS applications during audits.
• Analyze data to identify financial trends and insights.
• Document audit processes and findings to maintain transparency.
• Collaborate with team to address issues and manage audit risks.
• Learn PwC methodologies by observing experienced auditors.
• Support preparation and presentation of financial reports.
• Apply auditing methodologies to improve quality and efficiency.
• Develop understanding of internal controls in safeguarding information.
