Job summary

PwC is offering an Audit Japanese Business Network Intern position in the United States. You will assist audit teams in delivering financial statement audits for Japanese clients, gaining exposure to PwC's auditing standards and methodologies.

As an intern, you will perform basic tasks, conduct research, and observe experienced auditors while developing your accounting skills and building professional competencies for a potential CPA career.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or completed Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA.
• Business-level fluency in Japanese and English.
• Eligible to sit for CPA exam in your intended state of employment.
• Typically in third year of a four-year degree or fourth year of a five-year program.

Responsibilities

• Supporting audit teams in conducting financial statement audits for Japanese business clients.
• Participating in the review and verification of financial documents to confirm accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
• Assisting in the application of GAAP and GAAS during audit processes.
• Engaging in data analysis and interpretation to identify financial trends and insights.
• Contributing to the documentation of audit processes and findings to maintain transparency and integrity.
• Collaborating with team members to address issues and manage risks identified during audits.
• Observing and learning from experienced auditors to gain exposure to PwC's methodologies and practices.
• Utilizing technical accounting skills to support the preparation and presentation of financial reports.
• Applying auditing methodologies to enhance the quality and efficiency of audit engagements.
• Developing an understanding of internal controls and their role in safeguarding financial information.
