Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or have completed Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• At least a 3.0 overall GPA
• Demonstrated ability to communicate in Japanese and English
• Before starting full-time at PwC, meet educational requirements to sit for the CPA exam in your state
• Client service intern positions are entry-level; typically third year of a four-year program or fourth year of a five-year program

Responsibilities

• Supporting audit teams in conducting financial statement audits for Japanese business clients
• Participating in the review and verification of financial documents to confirm accuracy and compliance with accounting standards
• Assisting in the application of GAAP and GAAS during audit processes
• Engaging in data analysis and interpretation to identify financial trends and insights
• Contributing to the documentation of audit processes and findings
• Collaborating with team members to address issues and manage risks identified during audits
• Observing and learning from experienced auditors to gain PwC methodologies
• Utilizing accounting skills to support the preparation and presentation of financial reports
• Applying auditing methodologies to enhance quality and efficiency of engagements
• Developing an understanding of internal controls and their role in safeguarding financial information
