Job summary

PwC is seeking an Audit Intern in the United States to gain hands-on experience with financial statement audits within our Assurance practice. You will learn PwC methodologies, perform basic tasks, conduct research, and contribute to client support initiatives while developing a professional work ethic and commercial awareness.

You will participate in audits, review financial documents, analyze data for insights, and help document processes to uphold accuracy and compliance with GAAP/GAAS.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
• Minimum 3.0 overall GPA.
• Must meet educational requirements to sit for the CPA exam in your state of employment.

Responsibilities

• Support audit teams in conducting financial statement audits and gain exposure to auditing methodologies.
• Participate in review and verification of financial documents to uphold transparency and compliance with accounting standards.
• Assist in analysis and interpretation of financial data to identify trends and provide insights for decision-making.
• Document audit processes and findings to maintain organized records.
• Learn and apply GAAP and GAAS in audit tasks.
• Collaborate with team members to monitor and analyze financial trends and assess risk factors.
• Contribute to evaluation of internal controls and identifying areas for improvement.
• Use data analysis skills to support the audit process and enhance financial reporting quality.
• Observe and learn from experienced auditors to understand audit practices and client interactions.
