Job summary

Minneapolis Public Schools at Barton Elementary in Minneapolis seeks an Associate Educator (Bilingual Spanish) for 0.75 FTE (30 hours/week, 41 weeks) to support classroom instruction and after-school programs. Under supervision, you assist teachers, reinforce learning, monitor students, and help with bilingual communication and administrative tasks.

Qualifications

• 60 semester credits in Education, Child Development, Behavioral Sciences or related field.
• Passing ParaPro score of 460+ and HS diploma/GED.
• Two years of professional experience working with children or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Assist students with educational programs and assignments under supervision.
• Support teachers and staff to maintain a safe, productive learning environment.
• Assist with after-school programs and special education activities.
• Record data on student progress and communicate with parents as needed.
• Provide general office and administrative support for programs.
