Job summary

National Youth Advocate Program is seeking an Assistant Educator to support children's learning and development in a positive, nurturing environment. You will assist the teaching staff and help implement daily lesson plans aligned with state requirements.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in education or early childhood education is required.
• ECE certification is preferred but not required.
• 2+ years as a Teacher Assistant or paraprofessional with minority children.
• Proficiency with basic office equipment and software.

Responsibilities

• Assist teaching staff and support children's learning and development.
• Help develop lesson plans aligned with state requirements.
• Monitor and discuss children's progress with Lead Educator.
• Collaborate with educators to implement daily lesson plans.
• Support individual children to promote learning and development.
