Qualifications

• B.S. in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical or related field).
• 2-5+ years of industry experience preferred.
• Fluent in Spanish or Portuguese and English.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with combustion equipment preferred.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Analyzes and interprets customer inquiries to design and specify equipment.
• Travels to customer facilities for site support and data collection for technical review and proposal generation.
• Assists with technical development and risk assessment of customer inquiries.
• Develops cost estimates according to established guidelines.
• Sets product pricing using mark-up and commission schedules from management.
• Determines drawings needed for quotation and coordinates their completion.
• Writes, edits, and issues formal quotations to customer.
• Follow-up on written or verbal correspondence with customer during quotation phase.
• Visits with customer post-proposal to discuss and negotiate proposal.
• Provide status reports to management on overall proposal status and activities.
• Assist with creation and modification of sales presentations/documents using MS Office and web tools.
• Works with management to identify needed skills and tools for performance growth.
• Performs other duties as appropriate based on skills and experience.
