Job summary

Zeeco is seeking an Applications Engineer based in our Broken Arrow, OK office. The role focuses on Flare Aftermarket Engineered Solutions and requires fluency in Mandarin and English for work in China and globally.

The position covers proposal development, pricing, drawings, and customer communications, with travel for site support and negotiations. Candidates should have a mechanical/chemical engineering background and hands-on combustion equipment experience.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical or related field).
• 2-5+ years of industry experience (sales and/or industry experience) preferred.
• Fluent in Mandarin and English.
• Highly motivated, versatile, and able to work on their own as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective interpersonal skill plus able to communicate effectively by telephone, email, and face to face.
• Hands on experience or field experience with combustion equipment preferred.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Analyzes and interprets customer inquiries to design and specify equipment.
• Travels to customer facilities for site support and details for technical review and proposal generation.
• Assists with technical development and risk assessment of inquiries.
• Develops cost estimates according to guidelines.
• Sets product pricing using established markups and commissions.
• Determines drawings needed for quotation and coordinates their completion.
• Writes, edits, and issues formal quotations to customer.
• Provides status reports to management on proposal activities.
• Assists with creating sales presentations using MS Office and web systems.
• Keeps skills and tools updated to improve performance.
