Job summary

The role includes conducting counseling sessions and ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations. A strong background in therapy, particularly knowledge of CBT, DBT, and trauma-based approaches, is essential. Qualifications

• Registered as an AMFT or APCC.
• Master’s degree from an accredited university in psychology, or a related field.
• Minimum three years of work with acute Substance Use Disorder, psychiatric issues, and co-occurring disorders.

Responsibilities

• Conduct at least 20 hours per week of counseling sessions.
• Assist in the development of Behavioral Wellness / Safety Plans.
• Participate in case conferences and treatment planning.

Skills

High-level organization skills

Knowledge of the 12-Steps

Knowledge of CBT, DBT, MI, and trauma-based therapy

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Excellent documentation skills

Proficiency in Outlook, Excel and Word

Excellent time-management skills

Ability to work effectively within a team structure

Education
