About the Role
Vevor is a leading cross-border e-commerce company committed to driving growth through strategic partnerships. We are looking for an experienced and proactive Amazon Channel Sales to join our expanding team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing Amazon sales channels, with a strong focus on negotiating fees, marketing collaboration, and securing prime placement. Previous experience working on Amazon is essential, and the role will involve overseeing sales across various channels. This is a remote role, but candidates should be based in the Seattle area for occasional in-person meetings and team collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
- Channel Sales Management: Oversee and optimize sales across Amazon channels, ensuring maximum revenue generation and visibility for our products.
- Partnership & Negotiation: Cultivate strong relationships with Amazon to secure favorable terms, negotiate fees, and ensure optimal channel performance. Focus on understanding and negotiating fee rates and deductions to align with company goals.
- Marketing Collaboration: Work closely with Amazon’s marketing teams to execute effective campaigns and drive sales growth, securing resource positions and placements to enhance visibility.
- Cross-functional Coordination: Collaborate with internal teams (supply chain, marketing) and external partners to address issues and improve key performance indicators (inventory fulfillment, pricing, and refund rates).
- Sales Strategy Development: Analyze market trends and forecast changes in the Amazon marketplace. Design and implement sales and promotional strategies to accelerate business growth.
- Account Management & Crisis Resolution: Monitor daily account operations and proactively resolve any urgent issues, such as listing suspensions or policy violations, to ensure smooth business flow.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience managing Amazon sales channels with a proven track record of success.
- Experience working with Amazon Vendor Central and/or a background in Amazon sales is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of Amazon processes, policies, and analytics tools (e.g., ARA Premium, Retail Analytics).
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in Excel and data analysis.
- Fluency in Mandarin Chinese is preferred.
- Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently in a remote setting.
